Here is an excerpt from the FAQ section of Sport of Kings

The weights for allowance racing are calculated as follows: Base weight of 126 lbs
Each win over the minimum for the level adds 4 lbs
Each race without a win subtracts 2 lbs
Approximated weights will be displayed on the race entry page.

Here's what all this means with examples.

Horse on 0 wins, 9 races without winning
Base weight of 126 lbs.
This is where you start your calculations
No weight for wins, (the horse has not won a race) the weight remains at 126 lbs
For every winless run, subtract 2lbs.
The horse has not won in his/her last nine races. Subtract 18 lbs (9 x 2 Lbs)
Now the weight is currently at 108 lbs (126 - 18) and that will be the horses racing weight.

Horse on 2 wins, 7 races without winning
Base weight of 126 lbs.
This is where you start your calculations
For each race the horse has won add 4 lbs.
Now the weight is currently at 134 lbs (126 + 8)
For every run since that last win, subtract 2lbs.
In this example the horse has not won in his/her last seven races. Subtract 14 lbs (7 x 2 Lbs)
Now the weight is currently at 120 lbs (134 - 14) and that will be the horses racing weight.

Horse on 0 wins, 10 races without winning
Base weight of 126 lbs.
This is where you start your calculations
No weight for wins, (the horse has not won a race) the weight remains at 126 lbs
For every winless run, subtract 2lbs.
The horse has not won in his/her last ten races. Subtract 20 lbs (10 x 2 Lbs)
Now the weight is currently at 106 lbs (126 - 20) and that will be the horses racing weight.

Horse on 0 wins, 11 races without winning
Base weight of 126 lbs.
This is where you start your calculations
No additional weight for wins, (the horse has not won a race) the weight remains at 126 lbs
For every winless run, subtract 2lbs.
The horse has not won in his/her last eleven races. Subtract 22 lbs (11 x 2 Lbs)
Now the weight is currently at 104 lbs (126 - 22)
However, the minimum racing weight is 106 lbs and that will be the horses racing weight.
